- Friction Material: Each Textar pad can contain up to 43 different ingredients, formulated for specific applications to ensure consistent and reliable stopping power. The friction surface is painted red.
- Backplate: The pads feature a grey cast iron backplate. This material provides excellent bonding properties between the backplate and friction material, good thermal insulation, and superior noise reduction qualities.
- ProTecS® Technology: This version (ProTecS®) of the pad includes a fixed brake pad holder spring as a component of the pad itself. This design minimizes noise emissions, reduces deformation of the brake pad holder, optimizes guidance, and prevents potential assembly errors associated with reusing old springs.
